Description

Brian Tooley Racing BTR LS7 STAGE 2 V2 CAMSHAFT – BTR-LS7STAGE2

230/25X, .650″/.650″, 116 LSA

Developed in-house using BTR designed lobes, the new Stage 2 cam is the latest offering in the LS7 line up. We went back to the drawing board to find even more power and torque. This V2 version of our Stage 2 LS7 camshaft makes more power and torque everywhere in the curve compared to our previous Stage 2 LS7 camshaft. This camshaft has a moderate idle and makes great top end power at the sacrifice of some low end torque.

These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.

Requires the use of our .660″ Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers and hardened pushrods. Due to the longer pivot length and longer scroll of the LS7 rocker arms up to .660″ lift can be used without valve tip damage. We recommend maximum open spring pressure of 430 lbs.

For maximum performance and reliability, we recommend our LS7 camshafts be used with titanium intake valves.

Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) – the story

Brian Tooley has been in the performance racing game for nearly three decades.

Starting his own business back in 1992 called Total Engine Flow, Brian was using a Flowdata flow bench. Shifting to Holley Performance Products shortly afterwards, he helped develop the SysteMax head, intake and camshaft packages.

Going back to working on his own in 1996 until 2004, Tooley then built Total Engine Airflow into an industry titan.

Since then he sold his business to Summit Racing Equipment and stayed on until 2010 when he decided to be closer to family and friends.

As his BTR webpage revealed, it wasn’t long before Brian was back after seeing a need for quality spring kits at affordable prices.
